We are always keen to hear from private tutors in London and the home counties. We receive tutor requests for all subjects at primary and secondary level. We are looking for tutors who are passionate about helping students to grow in confidence and achieve their goals.
To complete registration, you will be required to attend an interview and provide proof of identification, qualifications and references.
DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
As a private tutor, you should be in possession of an Enhanced DBS. If you do not have one, you can obtain one from our DBS umbrella company Care Check Ltd.
Is it free to join?
Yes, there are no joining fees.
Do I have to commit to a minimum amount of tutoring?
No, there is no minimum commitment required.
Will I be employed by Grove Tutors?
No, tutors work on a self-employed basis and are responsible for paying any taxes and national insurance that may be due to HMRC.
How does payment work?
Grove Tutors invoices clients on behalf of tutors and remits payment to tutors on a monthly basis by BACS.
